I think I'll be bloggin more often

After reading about blogging, I've found that it has therapeutic effects. It's also the new marketing tool. This news I like a lot. Seeing as I have a few businesses that I'm in. Supposedly, every time I blog, the words are indexed in search engines, and people that search for the things I do, can find me. I love this....

I have always been interested in music as a career. The old days used to be that one had to get signed by a record label. Not so today. I am able to record music, and transfer it to mp3 format. I then upload the tunes to a site called tradebit. People can download the tunes and they have. I sold my first album to a friend in Alaska. He likes it. I even made a promo video which I put on Youtube. I then posted the link to my Facebook account. What a deal this is. It doesn't cost much at all to make the video.
I'm also doing part-time sales for a new recording studio in Schenectady, NY. It's called Success Recording and Production. They are also an ad agency. They record bands, radio commercials, books on tape, corporate training audio. They also have a CD duplication machine. So I spend a lot of time doing market research, and targeting prospects. I have a delivery route one day a week for a paper called Metroland. I might start getting into sales there too.
I play in a band called The Fizziks. We have a big show coming up tomorrow at a block party in Schenectady.
